Job Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Hostess or similar role in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and priorities
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Experience with reservation and seating software (e.g. OpenTable) is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers as they enter the restaurant, and direct them to an available table or waitlist
  • Manage reservations and ensure that tables are available and ready for reserved guests
  • Maintain a tidy and organized waiting area, ensuring that it is clean and well-stocked
  • Answer customer inquiries about menu items, wait times, and restaurant policies
  • Manage waitlists during peak hours, providing accurate wait time estimates to customers
  • Communicate with the kitchen staff and servers to ensure that tables are turned over quickly and efficiently
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager
